There are many field for you to expertise in. Most common branches taken up by students are General one, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, and Nutrition
Placement Experience
Every student has to pass interviews before getting hired for an internship or for a job. Companies like TCS has been seen as a recruited over the past few years. You must have had undergone an internship before you apply for a placement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's basically government college under government. So you get all the benefits like scholarships provided by the government. Fee structure is feasible. I had paid around ?5,215 per year. It's not a high fee if compared to colleges providing same course.
Campus Life
In extracurricular we had a literary affairs committee, debate committee, etc. We also had a sports room for Table tennis. We had a playground and also a gym in college. We also had good library and labs to facilitate proper education among students.
Alumni/Alumna
Every year our College organize convocation programs for the alumni. Here we have Alumi cell for that. Our College has a very well established alumni cell. Since first batch, we have students around the globe. We celebrate it in very nice way.
Admission
You will get admission here at Asansol Girls College on the basis of your marks scored in 10+2 examination. You must hold a valid degree for the same and produce it during verification rounds. You need at least 45% as an eligibility criteria for applying at this college.
Faculty
Good faculties are present here. I am pursued B.Sc. in mathematics from here we have a total of 10 professors. Here all faculties are hard-working and helpful. Some are specialized in research work and doing some projects.
