Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum wasn't completely as expected. It exceeded my expectations and was far better than what other courses could teach me. The readings I was prescribed were the one of the best works I could get. The classes are mainly calm and chilled which gives a better environment of learning.
Placement Experience
College offers placement opportunities in renowned firms like Unilever, Infosys, McKinsey and Company, Kaylee capital with packages ranging from 2.5 to 5 lakh per annum. Most of the students wish to go for higher studies and are also motivated to do so but companies can give job offers to abt 30 % of all students if they wish to take them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is within reach of all sections of society. In my time it was around Rs. 4000 per annum. Now it has been revised after semester system has been introduced. I believe it would be around Rs 10000 per semester.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is quite balanced in college though it is skewed in favour of men in courses like maths and physics. Each course students hold fresher and farewell parties inside and outside college every year. Students of all races are welcomed. It has liberal atmosphere on campus and ppl of all sexual orientations are accepted
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, senior students & Alumni are really helpful. Senior wing of the college is one of the best things about it. The help and guidance we get from the seniors is really helpful in paving the future path of the person. Many alumnis are connected via LinkedIn and other social networking sites and provide direction to attain professional experience.
Admission
I got admission on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the college. It is not that difficult of an entrance exam, it has very normal questions like that of general knowledge and current affairs and some reasoning. So one doesn't need to prepare much for it.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is really amazing. The professors are great and well versed in their respective subjects. They are like mentors to me. All the teachers are helpful and do a brilliant job when it comes to provide the best knowledge.
