First of all the college is situated in very peace and beautiful place as well as the ranking of college is according to NIRF was 37th(in 2016) and the placements is also very high and the Institute has a record of placements as compared to NIT Hamirpur. College takes admission on JEE bases and 10% seats are reserved for Himachali's Students as I remember my counseling is on 16th July 2016 at JIIT Noida (JUIT's Sister Branch) and admission was on 20th July 2016. The college has good placement record and the place where situated was also very peace and the college is placed in the hands of the environment so one can study and enjoy in peace.

As the Computer Science Engineering is at the peek and this branch is also evergreen and 90% of companies hire the CSE engineers. As JUIT is good reputed college firstly maximum of the faculty is PhD From IIT's and the faculty:student ratio is also very good as there are 25 students in one batch only and there are also lectures as well as Tutorial classes. The most of the faculty is Phd's from IIT's and prepare the notes of every class. In a semester there are three exams T1,T2&T3 consisting if 15,25 and 35 marks as well as 25 marks of the assessment one can pass with good grades if one can listen lectures carefully. and the practicals exam are of two types P1 and P2

7th semester companies including Amazon Google Adobe ZS Associates etc HP is 28.5lpa in mu session offered by Amazon as SDE and the AP is 5lpa 90 percent Government job

Academic fess is 90000 per semester as of now and hostel fees is 51000 per semester(in 2020). Financial Assistance is only for the students whose parents income is less than 100000/year. I got three campus placements one in cognizant TCS and Infosys my highest package 5.5 lpa.

The annual fest is Le Fiestus held in thee month of April and there are other 6-7 fests occur in the whole year like sports fest(Parakaram), Tech fest(Synchotron,R&D Expo) and other workshops also. The library is very clean and very well equipped with the latest academic books and contains many journals as well as the books an journals except the academics is also available the library is of 3 floors. The classrooms are equipped with the smart boards as well as the normal boards so one can explain each and every thing in complete manner. The college has all types of sports(Indoor as well as Outdoor) It contains individual courts for badminton cricket as well as foot ball and table tennis etc. The College has JUIT youth club commonly known as JYC which contains all the clubs and committees there are also technical clubs such as IEEE and ACM coding clubs etc.

I have a room shared by two people the facilities given to each of us are one bed a study table chair and a godrej almirah the room has a big space and also has attached balcony with the wonderful view the facilities of hot water in washrooms hot air in winters in rooms are also available with no extra charges laundry of clothes are also included. We get very good and hygienic food ate the mess named Annapurna in Breakfast we get two appetizer,one fruit milk,tea,Bread,Jam and in unlimited form Lunch consists of the one dal and vegetable along with rice and chappatis and salad and one fruit and at dinner we get another liquid dish and a vegetable along with pickle rice chapattis and a sweet dish all the three meals were unlimited. Registration of hostel was along with the admissions. The college is located aproxx 26 km frm shimla so not very good facilities at the PG.
