Course Curriculum Overview

College follows the curriculum properly, Better Value for money facilities It has a semester basis exam. The semester is held on every 6 months. After 3rd-semester college authority allows the students to attend the moot court hall for a better experience for all the students.

Placement Experience

The college does not provide placements. The college provides a one-year compulsory Internship that is suggested by the college for practical knowledge and a better understanding of the law in which students get very less stipend is provided.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the B.A.LL.B (Honors) is INR 1.6 LAKHS for 5 academic years. The college offer scholarships program for the merit students. The college also offers rebates on a fee for SC/ST & OBC category students.

Campus Life

The college organizes various events like SKAIL Foundation Day, Teachers? Day, fete, a college that covers the debates for social issues, inter-college competition, guest faculty lectures, seminars, the playground is also better and Institute also Supports the various Sports events.

Admission

Admissions to the B.A.LL.B.(Honours) Degree Programme shall be on the basis of marks as obtained also college consider merit list for admission. After selection, the student has to go to college for counseling and complete the formalities of admission.

Faculty

Faculty here is pretty decent or average I would say, things could be improved. But teachers pay a lot of attention and entertain questions and responses from students. Faculties are well with techniques and tricks to teach the subjects easily.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
