Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is of 2 years with 4 semesters and each semester is conducted for six months. M.A. History and Archeology gives us a brief knowledge of the ancient time and then engineering of the temples and their origin, which is a very interesting topic.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement is fine, we have a placement cell in our college which helps the student to get the job and supports the students with respect to career and their personal development needs. They always inform students about which companies are hiring and much more where to apply, how to apply for the placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very affordable because for my course of M.A. History and Archeology, I paid Rs.3150 for admission fees, examination Fees Rs.1400 and the fees for second semester was Rs.1000 and there is a advance caution deposit of Rs.500 which is refundable.Fee is less as compare to facilities.

Campus Life

The University Health Centre/Gymnasium is functioning in the Karikalan Arangam. The gymnasium is well equipped. For the benefit of students and staff, many medical camps are conducted. our college organises blood donation camp, eye camp and AIDS awareness programme for every student. Also, we have a Counselling cell which helps the students with appropriate guidance to stable a link with the world.

Hostel Facilities

Yes i have opt for the hostel facility and it is a twin sharing, we have separate hostels for girls and boys, the hostel provide well furnished room with basic and modem facilities like study table, chair and a almirah,The mess food available in the hostel is really good.

Admission

The admission for courses is given strictly on the basis of merit list but a student has to undergraduate from any recognized University in India. in my case, I have done bachelors in history from Tamilnadu university and that's why I got admission very smoothly.

Faculty

4.5

Dr. V. Selvakumar is the Associate Professor and Head of the Department and the only thing they ask from you is pure attention and discipline in the class. also, other faculties are experience and wise enough to answer our question.our faculty faculty members have published more than 20 books and has organized many seminars.
