B. Pharmacy at KMCH College of Pharmacy

The duration of the course is four years, the course's syllabus includes pharm syllabus and non- pharm syllabus. Both Male and female genders are eligible to register and apply for the course. But the candidates should at least have passed thr HSC or equivalent examination scoring 40% or more physics, chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. All Vocational institution students are not eligible for this course.

The placement cell in KMCH college of Pharmacy assist almost 100% to candidates ,providing them opportunities of Pharmacy for employment. The Pharmacy is collaborating with several pharma industries and hospitals, pursuing candidates in the field of health care and pharmaceutical industry. About 88 percent of candidates are employed in the healthcare industry, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and cinical Pharmacy, research and development. Only 12 percent are opted for higher studies.

Excellence students and researchers are always awarded by the KMCH College of Pharmacy or Tamil nadu government or other partners. The college conducting academic activities starting with workshops, conferences, seminars, organized training sessions and programs, also conducting guest lectures. In addition to that we are supposed to attend each semester industrial visit to one of the national laboratories as a co- curricular activity.

The KMCH College of Pharmacy recognized as one of best Colleges that affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and approved by The All India Council of Technical Education ( AICTE). Moreover, it is accredited by the NBA B. Pharm. I was among all the candidates whom have passed diploma Pharmacy examinations, that's how I got directly admission to the second year of B. Pharmacy degree course.
