Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum has been structured to impart quality education in the North east region. It is a five year course. It has subjects like legal procedure, law of evidence, economics etc. It is a difficult and requires a lot of hard work.

Placement Experience

We had to do a compulsory internship as per the course curriculum. The placement is quite decent and the meritorious students grabs the maximum opportunities. There are top companies visiting the campus every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college has the minimum fee structure as compared to other law colleges. It has been charging the total amount of ? 58,725. It is fairly cheaper and affordable at the same time . The college also provides scholarship.

Campus Life

There are several seminars conducted by the college every year. The students also get to celebrate Saraswati puja, republic day etc. inside the campus. It also organises freshers party for the first year students.

Alumni/Alumna

We are lucky to have been graduated from thos college as they still try to help us in our development. It incites us for alumni meet. We had understanding seniors who guided us like a guardian. They were kind and polite.

Admission

The college has been considering the students on the merit basis. It requires the marks of 10+2 standard with a minimum of 45%. English should be a mandatory subject in the calculation of marks for the admission.

Faculty

The faculty members are well qualified and they have been working for the college for so long. They are teaching the students with honesty and never misses a chance to rectify the mistakes of the students.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
