Course Curriculum Overview

Our college provided specialization in Botany, Chemistry, Economics,Physiology for B.Sc candidates. Our curriculum was divided into six semesters and attendance was mandatory for appearing in the final examination.

Placement Experience

Placement is moderate in our college, but our career counselling cell organizes seminars to guide us with the interview process and provide us with the opportunities and jobs we can apply off the campus after our academic learning.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee charged by our college is very minimal and i was charged around Rs.13,000-Rs.14,000 for my entire course excluding my admission fee.Per year i had to pay a amount of Rs.4,590 which was inexpensive and beneficial for weaker section students .

Campus Life

We students take part in sports at state and national level.Our college introduced the HEPSN for the different-abled students to provide special guide and academic support. Remedial coaching is provided to the students who belongs to SC/ST/OBC class.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, i opted for hostel facility, i stayed in the new hostel which was within the campus, apart from that we had more three hostel , the old hostel, PG hostel and the MSDP hostel. The total intake for hostel facility is about 350.

Admission

I applied for this course through the college's online portal, the application process is done online, based on my marks in 10+2 , i was selected for this curriculum.Eligibility criteria is 10+2 from any recognized board with 40%.

The faculty of our college are well experienced and help us with our lessons. They encourage us to innovate new skills and implement.We share our doubts and they help us efficiently with ease.They intensify our creativity and boost our confidence.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
