Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty good and so far till now it focuses on basics that one can easily understand. Exam pattern is like, two semester are conducted in a year with internal exams. Practicals are also important along with theories and assignments.
Placement Experience
NIM, Durgapur offers some really best companies for placements and job opportunities for each and every student here. The institute offers almost 100% placements every year. Some famous companies like MakeMyTrip and various other visit for recruitment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is not at all expensive when compared to other hotel management institutes or colleges offering similar courses. The total fees for this course are around Rs 1.4 lakhs for 3 years which is quite reasonable and fair as well.
Campus Life
Annual meet, sports days and many more are always hosted in our college where students participate in it sincerely and actively. There are also many food and other activities clubs in this institute.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is quite active in this institute and the seniors here are also very helpful and accommodating at the same time. As the alumni of our institute are already placed in good companies, they always here to guide us and be a support.
Admission
As I remember, during my admission, the selection criteria was merit-based, which is still same. After finishing my 10+2 exams with decent percentage I decided to opt for Hotel Management and applied for many colleges and institutes. I couldn't make it to other college, but my name was on this college's merit-list which allowed to take admission here.
Faculty
We have the best faculties here at NIM, West Bengal. They are also highly accessible and have all requirements to become the best professors. They have very efficient method of teaching and make learning more fun.
