The main motive of the college is to make students ready for the real world and enhance and improve their skills , it provides scholarships to students in need . Extra curricular activities has always been an important part of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
BA is a three year degree , we have our semester exams , with practicals and assignments .Almost all of us get good scores , teachers provide us with the best possible reading materials and the syllabus is designed in such a way which prepare every student for the real world.
Placement Experience
A lot of students from BA journalism and mass communication go for higher studies , some also joined the industry of media . The college provided us the 'finishing school' training and other training programmes as well , many government and non government jobs were also provided
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our college has one of the most feasible fee structure , it can be afforded by all most everyone . yearly fees for Ba is INR 2616. Fees for other courses is also very less and this gives incentive to students to join our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
College supports financially to the students who are in need , there is this student's fund which is given on the basis of merit and financial condition , The WB government also offers KANYASHREE scheme and many retied professors funds the students scholarship.
Campus Life
The college has several academic and cultural clubs like dance , drama , music , handicrafts etc , we also celebrated the annual day every year with great joy . We had sports club too and a lot of students went for national as well as state level competitions.
Admission
The college only provided only online application and i had to submit the application fees so because the college would not accept it before that , the eligiblity criteria was clearing 10+2 exams from any recognized board. The admission was merit based .
Faculty
Teachers were unbelievably supportive and helpful , they helped us not only with our study related problems but also guided us when we had other problems , they are literally the reason of my success and i am sure my batch mates would think the same
