Chakradhar's Review On All India Institute Of Medical Sciences - [AIIMS], Rishikesh

I have always dreamt about getting into the field which contributes to human welfare. My course is not easy but very intriguing to pursue. The medicine, how they are made and and how should they be consumed forms a major part of this course. Talking about the exam patter, there are 180 questions divided among Chemistry, Biology and Physics. Biology covers the major part of the paper, 90 questions while Physics and Chemistry has 45 questions each.

Everyone knows that AIIMS has a different image when we talk about Medical schools. Not to brag but it is a brand in itself, hence the internships are very knowledgeable and will fulfill your monetary expectations as well, if you are intelligent enough to get paid to learn. I got paid in the third semester while some of my batch-mates were getting paid in the second semester. The placement is not even questionable, with that amount of knowledge, you would be welcomed anywhere with a warm welcome and a big suitcase.

The annual fees of the college is 400 INR per year. Although the fees changes every year, my college is dirt cheap and very affordable as it values talent and knowledge more than anything. The hostel facility is affordable as it has been set while keeping every the financial status of the people in mind.

As a book lover, I can not stop talking about how great the library is. Like a heaven on the earth for all the book readers, you will find everything from fiction to documentary. (P.s- No they are not filled just with medical books :P) The classes are spacious and have everything for our comfort, the infrastructure of the college is worth talking about.

The initial step is to fill the form for NEET which can be done either online or offline. The form is released during the month of December, after filling the form, I went through the offline examination. The exam is quite difficult so my opinion is to be prepared for it.

The faculty is nice and friendly most of the time and strict when required. Most of the time we find our professors cracking joke in between to break the tension created by a long class. There are guest lectures and lab visits to enhance our knowledge and bloom it beautifully.
