Course Curriculum Overview
The labs and exams were frequent but that does not lead to hectic day. They were more of kind of in proper schedule and the internals and externals have good gap so that we could prepare nicely and internal exams were also not so hectic. The schedule was well set.
Placement Experience
The major recruiting companies are lupin, Cipla, intas, Himalaya, medpharma and microlabs etc. Most of the students get placed with the placement rate being 85%. The package goes around Rs 5 lakhs per annum mostly.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. The fees structure is feasible and the annual fee was 6000 and is lot more affordable for everyone and for students who are backward the fee is less and the students belonging to economical backward background are also given advantage and fee is less
Campus Life
Our college is amazing in all extra curricular activities and we have cultural fest. We have many activities ; street plays and campus ambassador activities. We also had sports fest or sports day in which various talents in the sports field were given recognition.
Hostel Facilities
The pg rentals are bit high but the hostel is really nice and beds are comfortable and the mess food is also tasty and healthy. The seating arrangement is quit nice for all students and room is shared by 2 girls and there are 4 floors in the hostel.
Admission
Because of the percentage criteria, I was successful to get admission under the botany course in Gangarampur College. My percentage was 82% and i managed to slip into the merit list. I always wanted to study botany
Faculty
They are well versed with what they are teaching and help to make things more interesting while teaching and the standard of teaching is upto mark. The teachers are helping as well as they have complete knowledge about what they are teaching and they use modern method of teaching.
