Course Curriculum Overview

It is one of the best colleges all over the North. Alipurduar has a very good infrastructure and a good teaching faculty. You will be taught many practical classes which will help you understand the subjects easier.

Placement Experience

We got really good placement opportunities. Quality of it is also good. Almost 50-60% students get placed. College is more supportive in terms of placement and interviews. I am glad to be get placement in the campus itself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My admission fee was under 100 rupees only and my first year tuition fee was only 1000/-. Yearly I spent close to 2,500/- altogether and summing up everything you can say I spent only 7,000/- for my entire course.

Campus Life

The co-curricular activities and sports facilities are very good. All in all its a very good college. You name a sport and we have it. We are always engaged in sports since I was very much interested in basketball.

Admission

I completed my Bachelor of Science course in the stream of Zoology. The minimum requirement for the admission was a pass in 10+2 examination conducted by a recognized board. If you chose science in your higher secondary it is an added advantage during the selection process.

Faculty

I can personally say that I have grown more as a person in my 3 yrs of college. Coming to faculty many possessed PHDs. I thoroughly liked their teaching. The laboratories are fully equipped as these courses are completely practical based.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
