Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very wide and a lot of books one has to read for each semester as the course demands. The exams are held twice a year with a focus on internals as well. The timings of the classes were flexible.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college is really nice who gives personal training sessions to be ready for interviews and gd rounds. The internship opportunities are also provided through various online portals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure for the BA courses is Rs 3710 in total. It's very affordable for everyone and those who are trying to save some money for masters should definitely consider this as an option. The facilities are also at par.

Campus Life

There are various workshops, seminars and lectures that the college organizes. Online poster making competition and quizzes are also held in times of pandemic. Since it's a girls college, so no gender discrimination occurs.

Admission

Admission to the BA courses is based on the marks obtained in senior secondary examinations. The process of all is entirely online which begins in May and classes begin from the first week of July. There is also a counseling session.

The faculty of the English course in particular is very nice and highly qualified. Some of them have even published their own books. My teachers always tried to teach in a very positive manner and we had interesting lectures.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
