A good college

The overall college atmosphere is good. You don't feel much pressure toward studies. The fee is a little high and it would be much better if it is reduced. the college not only helps with your academics but also supports your interests and talents.

The courses are really good here. They are high level. Exams are conducted every month and practicals as well. The overall schedule is very hectic. All the classes are to be attended without fail. Classes and labs are never delayed here.

The placements are satisfying. It is not like every student gets placed but it depends on your academic performance, skills and talent. The Essel group which a. branch of Zee group, hires students based on their interests and background.

There is a huge list of events hosted by our college. One of the popular one is ABHIVYAKTI and it is our own musical fest. Singers and celebrities from all across the country are invited. DJ nights are held. Cultural performances are also held where talented students get to take part.

The college is quite expensive. Only people with healthy financial base can afford to join in this college. Late fines are imposed if you fail to pay fee on time. Compared to what you pay, you don't get enough in return.

The scholarship is only provided to the scheduled tribes. They pay only half of their fee. The others do not have any scholarship facility. They have to pay their fee within 10 days of announcement. Fine will be charged if you fail to do so.

Our students are very active in sports and extracurricular activities. Various sports events are held throughout the year. All the students are allowed to participate without any bias. The labs are also fully equipped and updated.

The hostel is moderate. The rooms are good with good infrastructure. Cleaning is done properly and the washrooms are maintained clean. But there is a water problem sometimes. The food is also okay. Overall, the hostel conditions and food do need improvements.

Our seniors are very helpful, friendly and cool. They are more like friends to us than our seniors. They help us with organising any event, with our academics or anything it might be. Our alumni is mostly in great positions right now and is spread across the world.

I had good grades from my 10+2 boards. Then I appeared for JEE Mains. But unfortunately I did not acquire enough marks. Yet I applied for various universities wishing I could get into one. And to my surprise, I was shortlisted in Himgiri Zee University and finalised my admission by paying the required fee and submitting the required documents.

The faculty is amazing. Everybody so far is highly qualified and talented. their knowledge in their teaching subjects is immense. They are very friendly and supportive. We students even hangout with them in cafeterias.
