My memories of Himgiri Zee University

The course curriculum was quite engaging and interesting. It was full of practicals and research. It was not only about theory all the time. Theories were combined with practical application and real-life situations. It was a great learning experience.

The placement opportunities for our college are satisfactory. Usually, 70 per cent to 80 per cent of the students are able to find a job. The top recruiters include Essel group, Radisson Blu, Paytm, Accenture etc. The placement cell holds screening tests before the placement like pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions etc as per the requirements of the companies.

While talking about events in our college, I would like to say that the events are absolutely similar to the ones held in the colleges of the movies. There is a music fest called ABHIVYAKTI. The college organises an annual fest and DJ nights are also held.

The fee structure is moderate and affordable. It is neither too high nor too low. The fee which I paid for my course was around rupees 70,000 for a year. It included the tuition charges, maintenance charges and other charges.

The infrastructure of our college is nice. There is a swimming pool in our college which is not there in any other college. The best part is that it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The college also has a sports ground and a basketball court.

The hostel facility was quite good. There was a 3 storey building with a mess which provided nutritious food. The room and toilets were hygienic. Laundry facility was available on payment basis. There AC and non AC rooms and sharing and single rooms as well.

In comparison to the admission procedures at other colleges, the procedure of admission at my college was fairly easy and user friendly. There was a formal interview round which I had to appear for after submitting the admission form.

The college faculty was very friendly. They treated us like their own children. They taught us with great patience and seriousness. We could also share our personal life problems with them. They supported us throughout the course and handles us with great care.
