Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum focusses on Ayurveda and ancient surgical procedures. The emphasis is laid not only on curing diseases but also on preventing such diseases through suitable lifestyle changes. It heals the person physically as well as spiritually. The course is full of practicals and less theory.
Placement Experience
Most of the placments are for medical professionals. About 50 per cent of the students are able to find jobs. There are internship opportunities as well. The internships are given by some big hospitals and nursing homes. The average stipend of such internships is around rupees 25,000
College Events
Most of the events which are held are related to health care only. The events are organised to encourage healthy lifestyle changes. Sometimes events related to yoga are also organised. Certified instructors come and teach us various yoga asanas and tell us their importance as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for this course is quite high as compared to other courses offered by this college. But the main reason behind this is that this college mainly specialises in Ayurveda and ancient healing techniques which is not available in other colleges. The curriculum, the facilities, the teachers are all worth the money spent here. The fee for BAMS course is around 2,15,000 for a year.
Campus Life
Sports are not played here regularly but there is an annual sports day which is organised by the college. The infrastructure is well built. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. There are a Patanjali research institute and a dissection hall as well.
Admission
Admission is granted for BAMS course in Patanjali University after qualifying the NEET (National Entrance cum Eligibility Test) exam. After clearing the exam, the candidates are called for counselling in the order of their merit. After fulfilling all the requirements and completing the procedures, the admission is granted.
Faculty
The faculty is decent and supportive. They are highly educated and experienced in their respective fields. They provide us with class notes and also assist us while doing practicals. They are cooperative and friendly with us.
