Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is smooth.I get to study with examples and real life history methods and also get to see lot of documentaries and movies related to the same so that you can understand history better. Exams are held semester wise

Placement Experience

The college has a placement cell which make sure that as much as possible students get placed you should definitely register in the placement cell. Salary packages offered by the companies visiting are also good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is highly feasible. My first year fees was around 4000 rupees and it was about the same for the consecutive years as well. It was easily affordable and the examination fees also low.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships for the people who are from backward classes like OBC SC and ST and also need based scholarship. The college also help students to get loans from various banks so that they can pay their fees.

Campus Life

The college has a lot of sports enthusiasts so there are various sports competition and leagues. there are workshops seminars and conferences conducted by the college for the students all throughout the year.

Admission

After filling the application form online or offline you have to wait for the cutoff list and admission will be dependent on the marks that you have got in your undergraduate degree. I got my name in the first cutoff list.

The faculty of the college is qualified from top universities of the country and I have Masters or doctorate degrees in their fields. They have done research work as well. History is considered to be one boring subject but they make sure that it is fun.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
