Remarks

My journey with Senate of Serampore College of west bengal has been really amazing and full of learning new things out. I learnt new things and to discover more into the same. The faculty and the management helped really a lot in the same.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is totally same than that in the Bachelor's program but the basics have included more of the theoretical portion for now. Exams are held in every six months and students are prepared for the vivas too.

Placement Experience

Placements are referred by the Senate of Serampore College. Since I had to do PhD in the same I didn't go for placement instead just got a reference for my PhD program from the college. Internships are also provided

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is very nominal with 25900INR for two years ,which is a really normal amount for students' who will to study Christianity from the famous Senate of Serampore College West Bengal. All the trips are included in the same.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities included visit to various chruch that had past and that had an influence over people in reference to the Christianity. Sports day and speaking of various experts of the same field were also included.

Admission

After my Bachelor's in the same course program I applied online for the same Master of Christian Studies [MCS] and I got a call for interview where I was asked basic questions related to Christianity and after which my name was there in merit list and I got an admission

Faculty of the college is really nice and gentle to the students. They are ahead of the book's provided to us and help us more than that with the research work we will or we do. They share their experiences in the same.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
