Remarks

There is nothing negative I would like to tell about my college, as it gave me strength and knowlwedge to survive in the tough conditions.

Entrance Preview

I took CAT for MBA entrance, and selected BHU for 3 primary reasons:1. It is a temple of education, providing a world class education system under one campus.2. I got calls from various institutes but I chose FMS, BHU for there vintage in Management Education3. My family has studied at this university, so there was an emotional connect already with this university.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum was exhaustive with subjects covering entire Management related content, we were taught economics, management, marketing, operations management, International management, among other subjects. Right from day one to end of course, we were taught something new every day.

Internships Opportunities

Most of the students were sent to PSUs/Navratnas for summer training, by college. The internship was good experience for all of us, as we came to know the real challenges of management in practical life. It also help us understand our concepts better. The teachers were also helpful during the project completion stage and later at drafting the project summary for presentation.

Placement Experience

4

The Placements were good, considering the fact that the college is not located in a Metro city. Gradually the placements have imperoved over last few years and the college is now one of the leading Management institutes in India.

College Events

4.5

We had lots of seminars, guest lectures, events and management case studies during our stay at the university. The university also hosts lots of events, including a Youth Festival for all students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The university is a central University, so the fees is very nominal, running into few thousands per semester. The hostel cost and food cost are also very cheap. University aims at providing the hostel facilities to students at a nominal charges,

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of this, but I understand that the loan facility is provided by some banks for studying here.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was great, we used to play lots of sports, cricket, Volleyball, basketball, football etc, and lots of indoor games. There were lots of events happening at University level, where a student can participate. BHU is a happening place.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel is good with dual sharing rooms and a self sufficient mess. The students need not go out (Except Sunday eve - when mess is closed) for anything. everything is available in the mess and in the University campus.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is one of the best, and regular alumni meets keep happening in major Indian cities, and abroad. The college also call there previous batches and felicitates them. The alumnus are networked very strongly and they regularly interact over emails, social media etc.

Exam Structure

Exams are normally of descriptive answers pattern and the questions cover almost entire of the syllabus.

Faculty

4

Faculty is superb with wide range of industry and educational experience. Some of the teachers are on panel of various corporate groups, which gave them lots of industry insights, best practices and other relevant knowledge. The faculty was always helpful and supportive in case a student needs any kind of help.
