Good College for Engineering

The college is a good choice for anyone who wants to pursue B.Tech or B.E. The management is very helpful and co operative to the alumni. Overall this is a complete course curriculum in B.Tech or B.E with an affordable fee structure.

The course curriculum for B. Tech. Is a bit hard. Think schedule will be quite hectic with practical and theoretical interpretation of the subjects. The curriculum is semester based. It is of total 4 years which is total 8 semesters. Other than semester the college has mid term, unit tests and internal evaluations to make you prepared for the finals.

Well almost 80% of the students gets placed in reputed companies every year. The pay scale is also good for freshers. The internships are provided to some selected students based on their activities and score. So you can say the placements are quite good here.

The fee structure is quite feasible compared to other institutions. For the entire course curriculum you have to pay almost INR 2lakhs and for the first year you have to pay 57,500 rupees which is quite feasible for a good technological institute. And also there are scholarships offered by the college. So i don't think the cost of the course will bother you, even if you are coming from not so good economical condition.

There are scholarships offered by the college and government. The scholarship is offered to the meritorious students based on their academic performance in the previous qualifying exam, for the newcomers, and for seniors, it is based on there performance on the previous academic year. Also the college provides scholarship to the economically weaker section which is called merit cum means. And there is a sports scholarship, for the students who are good at sports. Also there is government scholarships offered to the students. So it is good for anyone who wants to pursue his/her degree with a scholarship from any of these categories.

The gender ratio is almost equal. In terms of other extracurricular activities there is a students society, any discrimination on basis of caste, colour or sex is not appropriated here. The college conduct NCC and NSS mainly but there are other activities like sports competition, course in robotics, debates conducted every year as well.

To get your admissions done here, all you need is a good rank in your JEE mains or TNEA and atleast 50% marks in your higher secondary examination or any other equivalent examination. The final selection will be done on the basis of your merit score in the counselling of the Anna University / JIT. Application mode is online.

The faculty members are well qualified and professional in this field. Most of them are doctorates and pretty successful in their career. Besides this they are very helpful and co operative with the students. They are great teachers as well as great personalities.
