Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well structured. In the first two semesters we were taught subjects like introduction to biology, biodiversity, algae, microbiology and chemistry. The subjects were taught with some research work as well. Later towards the fifth semester topics like cell biology and plant resource utilization were introduced in our curriculum.
Placement Experience
As such there are no placements or internship opportunities provided by the college. But if you want a job after pursuing BSc in Botany there are various opportunities in many fields. Some of them includes working as an ecologist, plant biochemist, research botanist,nursery or green house manager and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible as compared with the other colleges offering the same degree. Here we are given good quality education at minimal charges.The fees here is submitted in yearly basis which makes it more easier to pay.
Campus Life
There are a lot of extracurricular activities in our college. The sports club is an important part of it as it is the most active club of the college. Many cultural activities were also organized by the cultural club that included public speaking competitions, debate, quizzes and many more. The annual sports meet was a crucial part of every student's journey here. Many other facilities such as clean classrooms and well equipped research labs were provided by the college itself . The infrastructure is very spacious that provided me the best aura for studying.
Admission
The admissions in this college is purely based on XII marks. The minimum eligibility criteria is 50% of marks in XII from a recognized board. I managed to get a seat here very easily as my score was pretty decent. I just applied online on the college website and was shortlisted after that I was asked to appear at the college for various documentation processes
Faculty
The faculty of our college is really benevolent. They are highly educated individuals from all over the country. Proper exposure was provided to our teachers through various study tour, excursions and project work. Our college even have an inter-college faculty exchange program every year.
