Great faculty and good experience

The city has pretty good environment and JIT?s study environment is good too. It has well experienced faculty, research orientated curriculum. The overall student life experience was good , no regrets related to study in this institute

The curriculum of my program is good and updated. It comprises of current trends regarding my major. The curriculum of my major is research orientated, from working on project to discussing about the real world case studies to build the bridge with market and education. You will learn best techniques and skills that would help you a lot in your professional life The grades will be evaluated based on your performance in surprise quizzes, tests, practical exams etc . however in the last two semesters, you have to work on a project or do research along with all above mentioned things and submit a report then have to go through a viva-voce to pass the semester.

It does provide internship with companies for its students to have practical knowledge and its placement is also fairly good. so every students studying here will have various chances to get a placement or internship with good stipends

The faculty often organized many seminars, symposium and workshops with many prominent scholars of IR as the guest lecturers in these events. Apart from this cultural events on national holidays and festivals. And many competitions for students to win prizes like essays competition, IEEE blog competition etc . students have interesting life in this institute.

The fee structure of JIT is a bit expensive for middle and lower class families. The fee structure for my M.Tech program was- 1st year was around 1.1 lacs and for the 2nd year was around same So the total fee of the M.tech was around 2.2 lacs without hostel

scholarships and loan are there to help students to get education without troubles. Scholarship is available for the rank holders and loans for everyone who don?t have funds to pay the fees. relaxations for the reserved category as per UGC norms and the scholarships provide by State Government and Central Government are some other options. So they can look for them online and apply for them according to their needs

this institute is a life time member of many Professional Societies like Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE),Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). So these societies often held training workshops, competitions, seminar in the campus. We also organised national level basketball tournament every year.

Hostel is pretty decent and the fee is around 70000 per year, this fee includes room rent, wifi, mess and other necessary amenities. One room is shared by three students. Rooms are spacious, well built to get fresh air and ventilation is good to cope with TN heat. You will get your own closet, study table . The food of hostel mess is pretty decent too.

There are two ways I know for getting admission in MTech , both required to sit on a entrance exam but of different kinds- you either choose GATE or can go with TNCET. In both ways , the competition is high. So better start preparing for it.

All the faculty members have pretty experienced in the course they teach. They are more inclined towards research work and encourage and try to engage the students in the same. They have worked on various projects related to their field of specialization. They are pretty helpful, full of empathy too .
