Good college

The college is just beyond words. Everything is so amazing here from the college atmosphere to the faculty, academics and the students as well. Life after joining IIFT is just amazing. The institute helps so much to make your future bright and successful.

The courses here are very tough. A lot of research work has to be done. The days are sometimes very hectic. But all the courses are very standard and of high level. The curriculum is refreshed every year.

There is a separate placement cell in our college. Every year almost 90 to 95% students get placed in reputed companies with a very high pay. Companies like Delloite, Godrej, Aditya Birla visit our campus for recruiting students. On an average, the students get selected with a package of 50-80 lakhs per annum sometimes. ther are also internships where students are offered around 1.5 lakh stipend.

There are huge events celebrated in our college in both national and international level. Delegates from all across the world are invited as guests to take part in the events. Major events include Quo Vadis, Vivaan and Tradewinds. Cultural events are also held every year on a huge scale.

The fee seems feasible. Not everyone can afford it but the fee is reasonable when you see all the facilities and the high class education provided. The courses taught here are based on the current trends around the world. The fee for PhD is almost 2 lakhs per annum but it is justified.

There are a few scholarships provided by groups like Aditya Birla. There are amazing loan options as well. Many banks offer the students loans at an amazing rate of interest.The process is quite simple and it is fast.

Sports are also a part of curriculum here. All the students here are equally supported to take part in the sports. Sometimes sports hours are scheduled in between the classes to help students cope up with the stress. You don't find any kind of bias or discrimination all across the campus.

The hostel is amazing. Each students gets a separate room for themselves. Facilities like free wifi, geyser etc are all provided. The mess food is also so good. The hostel has a good infrastructure and the maintenance is also very good and hygienic.

Our seniors here are amazing and super cool. All of them are so talented. They help with everything we want be it academics or any other thing. they are very friendly with us. The alumni of our college are all in great positions. Some of them even CEOs their own companies. Some of them are even settled in foreign countries.

After completing my masters, I applied for Ph.D in IIFT. And luckily after a few days I was informed that i was selected to appear for the entrance exam. I worked so hard for it and gave my best in the exam and I qualified it. Later on I was called for another descriptive test which was based on aptitude and the second round was a personal interview. I qualified both the rounds here as well. Later a merit list was finalised where luckily by God's grace i got selected and my admission at IIFT Kolkata was finalised. My hard work really paid off here.

The faculty here is explicit. All of them have a vast professional experience. All of them hold very high degree qualifications. Some of them are even graduated from reputed foreign universities. They can make even the toughest lectures fun and interesting. They are always with us for any help and queries.
