Course Curriculum Overview
BA English was a three years (6 Semistar) course. Focused on enhancing our english communication skill be it orally or in writing. The course had a rigorous curriculum of literature, composition, language and linguistics, and communication studies.
Placement Experience
In my college we had a career guidence concelling cell which helped us a lot to open our minds with opportunities that were available for us after completing the course. We were also trained well for our better recruitment. Today I am placed as a Postsecondary English Teacher in a government school.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As the college was a government college. The fees was structured to be affordable for all students belonging to any background. The total three years of fees of the course was Rs. 6,100/- which was affordable for all the students further scholarships were also available.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college in my time had provided enormous scholarships opportunities to the students who had economically poor backgrounds analysing there allover performance and to the meritorious students and also on the basis of attendance of students.
Campus Life
We had a playground in my college where we use to pay various games and sports such as Football, Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton etc. Also we had a student union responsible for conducting regular extracurricular activities.
Admission
The admission in this college for ba English was solely based on the merit in the qualifying examination of intermediate education. The basic eligibility criteria for admission was to be qualified in 10+2 with atleast 45%
Faculty
The faculty was a group of well qualified teachers having efficient skills in teaching students effectively and with great enthusiasm and assurance of understanding for students. They were also very humble and kind to all of there students.
