Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good and very well designed by professionals so that students can get in depth knowledge on every subject. Exam structure of our course is semester based that is 3 years of course is divided into 6 semesters.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are quite good and decent in our college. Our college has a placement cell which looks after the recruitments. No, our college doesn't provide any internship for our course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very much feasible in our college. Fee structure of our course is 4,590 per year which totals upto 14,000 for whole 3 years which is much affordable. If any student is financially weak, then one can avail scholarships provided by our college.

Campus Life

Our college besides from studies also concentrates on extracurricular activities. Our college conducts various seminars and workshops for the students. Several events like freshers party, farewell party, annual day celebrations includes dance competitions, English and bengali drama, debate and essay competition, extempore speech competition, alpana and music competition, etc are organized by our college.

Admission

I got admission in this college by filling online application form which is provided at college's official website after which I got selected based on my intermediate marks. Then I got my certificates verified and payed the fees. The process is same for other courses too.

Faculty

Faculties of our college are very much helpful and supportive. They are very well trained and qualified. They provide good theoretical and practical knowledge. They even guide us in career aspects so that every student is well placed in companies.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
