Course Curriculum Overview

In the course duration of three years, Indian and world history is taught as well as the major developments that have been taking place. There is a lot of focus on archival research and the exams are followed in a semester pattern.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college is really good and apart from that there is a career counseling cell as well. Various companies visit like Bayne, Dabur, Amul, Reliance. 84% of the students got placed with an average salary of 13 Lakh Per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The first year fees of the BA courses is Rs 3120 which is quite affordable for anyone wanting to seek a decent education. The facilities are also provided by the college are at par and one should definitely consider this option.

Campus Life

There are various quizzes and competitions that college took a part in. The students are exposed to various guest lectures as well which are beyond the academic curriculum and it gave a lot of exposure to us.

Admission

The admission to the college is strictly based on merit. There are 12 specializations under BA and 6 specializations under BSc. The admission forms are available online and there is no round of interviews as such.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
