Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very wide and one has to read a lot of books as the course demands. The assignments and projects are also considered an important aspect of the course curriculum. The timings of the classes were flexible.
Placement Experience
There is a placement cell as well as a career counselling cell in the college. 80% students get placed every year. Companies who frequently visit are Dabur, Bayne and Reliance. The package is around Rs 13 Lakh per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For the BA course, the total fees is Rs 8600 for three years. I think it's quite feasible and affordable for anyone. The facility, placement and teachers are all up to the mark which give students a lot of exposure.
Campus Life
There are various guest lectures, seminars and competitions that keep happening on a monthly basis. There is quite a tolerance in regards to religion, race and gender. The students are actively engaged in debates and discussions.
Admission
Admission to the BA and BSc courses are based on merit on the marks obtained in class 12th examinations. The interview process or gd rounds is not there. I chose English because I was always fond of it and wanted to pursue it professionally.
Faculty
The teachers of the English Department were one of the best faculty members that the college had. They were also highly motivated to teach us and gave real life situations as well. They were strict when it came to assignments.
