Course Curriculum Overview
B.A Hons. in English majorly focuses on the Grammar, American literature, classic novels both fiction as well as non-fiction. The college does not have any entrance exam, the selection is done on the basis of merit list released by the college.
Placement Experience
The internship rate is quite decent. Literature opens a wide door of opportunities for students, one can go into creative writing, editing, proofreading and even volunteering. Although I took an off-campus internship, my batch-mates took an internship in the startups where they were paid 10,000 INR monthly.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The annual fee for the college is only 2300 and as the course is for 3 years the total fee of the course becomes 6900 INR in total. I find the college quite affordable as the college provides great service in the field of education.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is quite decent, the auditoriums are huge and are used for guest lectures which are hosted by our HOD, the classes are well-equipped and fully air-conditioned which is a relief during the summer season.
Admission
After filling an online application form, I waited for a couple of weeks as the college allocates its seats to the students on the basis of merit list. I got a call from the college to visit along with the required documents and the annual fees.
Faculty
The faculty of the college id great, the professors are dedicated to the class and hosts many seminars and guest lectures to enhance our knowledge and help us grasp things more quickly. Our HOD takes the classes occasionally to check our level of learning.
