Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of Commerce is a graduation course which has the duration of 3 years and follows semester system. The structure of the course is good and is revised regularly. The days are generally chilled. However, exams are a little tiring.

Placement Experience

The institution provides with good education and various opportunities to the students. There are various programs for the development of the students and to enhance their skills and learnings. However, there are not many internships and placements for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of B. Com program is not at all high and and is very feasible and also affordable. The cost for B. Com is around 30 thousand which is a very decent amount to pay for such a popular course.

Campus Life

The institution is very good in its extracurricular activities. There are sports activities, cultural programs and functions, various events, national festivals etc all organized. Freshers and farewell party are also held.

Admission

Bethuadahari College is located in West Bengal and provides with many courses including bachelor of Commerce. The students who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board are eligible for admission. They will be selected on merit basis.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Eligibility of t course was normal 12th pass I got 60 person marks but I managed to get admission in this college with ars very easily. I applied in June 2022 At the time of application, the college authorities were taking Rs 2000 admission free. Good reservation facilities are available at Pinsepal. The frequency and timing of exams along with your perspective on their difficulty level was very good but one semester exam amar diwa hoini khub is a bad news but very good in terms of exam.
