The college has few faults but they have been working on developing them. The college is one of the best in the area and has many facilities we can use at our disposal. The teachers are also very helpful and very well-educated
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum was set up by the University of Kalyani. It was quite chilled out and we enjoyed learning ancient history, medievel history and modern history. It had a good progression. The course lasted three years and was quite fun.
Placement Experience
Since our college was a government college we didn't have many placement opportunities but they made sure that we were prepared for entering the work force. They arranged seminars and mock interviews that helped us with our careers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is what you expect from a government college. It was according to me quite feasible and not that bad. It was one of the reasons i joined the college. If you still find the course fees too much you can access scholarships set up by the college and government.
Campus Life
There were many functions set up by the college like annual functions and other celebrations of indian festivals like holi, diwali etc. The college also had a sport complex where we could participate in many inter collegiate fests and other sports.
Admission
Admission to my course was merit based and the students had to get atleast 50% aggregate marks to get admission. I had gotten 80% for my 12th standard and i loved the chance to study history and become a teacher.
Faculty
Our faculty teachers were all very helpful and welcoming. They made sure we understood what was taught. They taught us our subject like they would tell stories, which i loved about our professors. They were very competent.
