Remarks

The college is one of the best college i have heard about.It offers all the facilities and even better than other colleges at minimal fees.We get access to high education and practical experience too.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very informative and deep.The course specializes in bengali,political science,geography and history.The course focuses on enhancing the knowledge of the students and overall personality of the student.It offers practical knowledge too as there are separate practical exams in each semester.

Placement Experience

The college does not offer any specific internships.The students themselves have to search for the jobs and look out for the opportunities.The teachers are helpful when we ask them about the companies and guide us with all they have.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college is very feasible when it comes to fees.They ask for minimal fees as it is a public college.The students find it affordable and also if your marks are good you can easily get into the college with very less fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is public and students can take admission and get fees cut off by government schemes.The college does not offer any other specific scholarship program because everything is given by the government.

Campus Life

Our college has a huge library which has many books and they can be accessed whenever we need them.The college also has a computer center and gives us the access to use the computers whenever we need to.Many competetions are also held in college which helps the students to reduced stage fear and to grow more.

Admission

I got admission in this college though my merit basis.After i gave my board exams I immediately applied for BA(hons) in this college.I applied online by opening the official website of the college.It was quick,easy and simple.Then when my result was out within 3-4 days the merit list was also out online for admission.I took admission as soon as i checked the list.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is calm and composed and is well educated.They always tell us about there personal experience in the field and help us with there practical knowledge.The faculty never lets us down whenever there is any doubt and query.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Eligibility of t course was normal 12th pass I got 60 person marks but I managed to get admission in this college with ars very easily. I applied in June 2022 At the time of application, the college authorities were taking Rs 2000 admission free. Good reservation facilities are available at Pinsepal. The frequency and timing of exams along with your perspective on their difficulty level was very good but one semester exam amar diwa hoini khub is a bad news but very good in terms of exam.
