Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is well structure and made keeping students well connected with the course which I love this most. Exams are held 2 time per semester which are in accordance to University Rules and Regulation.

Placement Experience

Once you get degree for our college there are various job opportunities in the market. Placement and training committee keeps them well updated and make us ready for the job. Internship can be done by the students on their own if they want to do it.

There are various programs which are held in our college. Our college just don't pay attention towards our academics but also towards various outdoor activities which are important for students which is the best part of our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees our very feasible in are college and can be afforded by needy students. Fees of our college is around Rs 1000. As fees are very less in our college it makes needy student life much more hassel free.

There are various Government scholarship which can be availed by needy as well as backward caste students. College faculty member keep students well informed about the various scholarship program in our college.

There are extra curricular activities in our college which keeps students refreshed and active. There are various workshops and guest lecture organised in our college which are very interesting and gives us opportunity to learn something more.

Seniors of our college are super friendly and very helpful. They treat each and every students as their friends and there is no ragging done in our college. Good part is they also help students in concept building is needed.

Bachelors of Commerce is the most common options among the students and our college is among the best to opt out for local students staying nearby. Our college is affiliated to University of Calcutta is One of the prestigious universities in India which is also a good part of our college.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
