Course Curriculum Overview
B.A(Hons) in Bengali is 3 year course. Under CBCS curriculam we were to appear for 2 semester exams every year. Under the course, we learned about the History of Bengali Literature along with various Bengali poems, novels and dramas. The syllabus was extremely updated which covers almost everthing there is to study about Bengali Literature in the graduation level.
Placement Experience
Our College does not have a separate placement wing. We are not benefitted with job oppurtunities. Despite this drawback, the students are prepared capable enough to face the challenges so that we can build our own place in the World.
College Events
Every Year College Fests is arranged. Beside Fests, various national festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day and Swachchata Divas is celebrated. The NSS division of the college also arranges various health related events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of our college is very nominal. Students can avail either online or offline mode for the payment of the fees. Our college maintain pure transparency and therefore does not charge any extra hidden fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college also provide scholarships. only those students who are from a economically weaker background but are excellent in academics are granted scholarships. Students can also apply for the scholarship schemes offered by the government.
Campus Life
Our college does the overall development of the students. We get good education along with chances to engage ourselves in various extra-curriculam activities. Every year our college holds Annual Sports. Most of the students of our college are from middle class families with a good academic background. We have a clear and green surrounding.
Admission
Bethuadahari College is a very renowned college in Nadia, West Bengal. The admission procedure is quite simple. For admission in the Bengali Honours course , the students are expected to have an aggregate of 45% marks in 10+2 and they must have an aggregate of 50% marks in Bengali. I was eligible, so I filled the online application form. My name was listed in the first merit list. Two days later I went to the college for confirming my admission.
Faculty
We were taught by in-house Professors as well as guest lecturers. All our Professors were very supportive.Our senior Professor, Dr. Tapan Kumar Pande was the most qualified Professor. All our teachers guided us and helped us to understand the course better. We also had interactive sessions with the professors where we could clear our doubts and state our concerns better.
