Course Curriculum Overview
The course was very much updated with guest lectures and Conferences. The course prepared the students to become master in the knowledge of international economics and finance. The course covered important topics such as Corporate Finance, International Financial Management, Project Appraisal & Finance, Advanced Topics in Macro Economics and WTO and Contemporary Trade issues.
Placement Experience
Placement and Internship provided by the college were excellent. Every year companies like TresVista, Toffee Insurance and Silverdale Fund, Louis Dreyfus, ICICI Bank, Citibank, Indus Valley Partners and Synergy Consulting, JPMC, Goldman Sachs and HSBC, DE Shaw, Bira91, BMW, Duff & Phelps, Cogoport, Spices Board, Cargill, Sinar Mas Group, ITC, Shell, Swiggy and many more. The college had a record of 100% placement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is feasible and my structure was INR 100,000 for the First time At the Time of Admission, Library Caution Money INR 5000 which was refundable, for the second year I paid INR 85,000 and Alumni Fee INR 10,000, the Third year I paid INR 1,00,000 and for the fourth year, it was INR 75,000. A student who was from reserve category gets a concession of 50% in their tuition fees.
Campus Life
We had annual sports function as well they were celebrated with full enthusiasm by the management and students. Our college provided many workshops on cultural events or some seminar also for the students. There were separate hostels for UG and PG students for boys as well as girls. The hostels were well furnished and equipped with facilities like TV, Wi-Fi, freshwater and indoor games. There was no raging in my college and it was s a ragging free campus.
Admission
My admission procedure was simple, I had an undergraduate degree in BA economics so the college conducted an entrance exam and I got qualified for it. The entrance was on the basis of Written test, Essay write-up, Group Discussion and Personal interview. Then I completed the documented procedure and got admission in this college.
Faculty
Dr Biswajit Nag was the Professor and Head of our department. he was very qualified and had the degree of PhD. In Economics and PG Diploma in Financial Management. Their lectures were very effected and helpful for the students. Their motivation was towards every student so that they could get good marks in the exam.
