Course Curriculum Overview
I took up HRM as specialization first two semesters were normal without specializations now for 2nd year we have to study niche domains the specializations we selected.Exams are based online. One gets to go to exam centres and clear it.
Placement Experience
No university of madras distance does not provide any placement opportunities. But one can get many jobs related to their industries. One will have a greater advantage after completion of this course.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible compared to the regular course. We have to put lakhs of money to pursue the same MBA (maybe because of reasons like infrastructure, library etc). But here we invest in what we want only without any kind of miscellaneous expenses. Fees are around 18,850 per year.
Campus Life
University of Madras regular has all kind of activities but not us. We are in distance form all we do is to get a degree certificate. But I heard many things take up on the main campus. They have a lot of fun.
Admission
Madras University is a famous university in India. I wanted to do an MBA, as I was starting up my own CA firm, needed some management skills. I think I made a good choice of enrolling for this course. Entry was through the university's exam. I cleared it and got selected directly after that.
Faculty
Faculty are good we have 2 days classes per week. Studying is not hectic but one has to catch up with the pace to miss things out. It won't burden if properly followed classes and studied along with it.
