Course Curriculum Overview

Diploma is 1 year course divided into two semesters and at the end of each semester the theory and lab practical will be taken and to appear in the 2nd semester you have to pass the 1st semester. The syllabus is updated regularly.

Placement Experience

Placements are good but college needs to work more on the placement. The college doesn't give 100% surety of placement but some good companies come every year with decent offers for every students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My course is of 1-year duration and total fees are Rs 38 thousand two hundred and fifty and it is quite feasible for everyone. Yes B.Sc course is higher than this but the facilities and everything provided are worth spending for.

Campus Life

There is no as such discrimination among students on any ground when it comes to extracurricular activities. Whether it is sports activities, labs or events we are all given equal chances to try our hands on.

Alumni/Alumna

When I started off I was nervous and not so confident about what will happen, how will I pass in exams, where will I get the notes and various other thing, but thanks to seniors and teachers they provided with everything. They are extremely helpful.

Admission

To pursue the Diploma in Food & Beverage services you should pass 10+2 with 50% and English as a compulsory subject. Form is available on the official website and the admission will be done after qualifying the Entrance exam and interview.

Faculty

You will get everything in the college campus itself and thanks to the faculty members they provide students with best quality study materials and notes. They will guide you in the entire course and not only that other courses professors are also very qualified.

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible form 7th semesters, Companies like Amazon, DeShaw, SalesForce, Deloitte, etc visit here and they respectively take a good number of students. Highest package was 80 LPA by DeShaw and average package is around 13 to 15 LPA 93 % students are placed I am also planning to sit in the placements and going in the development feild

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
