Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that after three years, we are eligible to know about basic constitutionality and International relations. The assignments were an integral part of our course.

Placement Experience

There is a scope of improvement when it comes to placements the college has to offer. Few companies visit that too for commerce or science background only. One has to find his/her way through internships themselves.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For the BA courses, the first year fees is Rs 5710. It's an affordable option if compared to other colleges and as well as the facilities given by them. If someone still finds it expensive, scholarships are offered too.

Campus Life

Usually workshops are organsied for students for all departments. Apart from that, the college celebrates every festival with same zest and enthusiasm. No discrimination of any sort takes place in the campus.

Admission

The admissions are solely based on merit of the class 12th marks followed by a counseling session. The minimum eligibility criteria for the admissions is different for different courses. The admission forms are available on college website.

The faculty members of the college are really helpful and supportive. They took our sessions in the form of debates and discussions to make them interesting. All the teachers are exceptionally qualified.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
