Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is updated as per the latest trends. Bijoy Krishna Girls College will make the excellent teachers in the field of school education when compared with other organisations. We used to have practicals, paper presentation, etc.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunity for us especially fir B. Ed students not so good. We are not having any internships at our college. I have not got any job opportunity when i was in college. After my college, i got a teacher job.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Bijoy Krishna Girls College - [BKGC] fee for Bachelor of Education is cheap. The college collects an amount of Rs. 17,600/- per year from B. ED students. We need to pay tution fee, lab fee, library fee, etc as total fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Bijoy Krishna Girls' College provides Post-Matric Scholarship Schemes to Minorities CS and Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships. I belong to OBS category. So, i didn't got any scholarship from the govt or college.

Campus Life

Most of our Bachelor of Education students are into paper presentation and cultural activities. But i am interested in giving seminars, attending workshops. That helped me to secure a job within less amount of time after my graduation.

Admission

As it is a women's college, my self and my parents are pretty much interested in this college. I have applied online through the college official website. We got a message regarding the admission into B.Ed course from the college. The screening will be done based on the merit list.

Faculty

We are having 15 teaching faculty who are well educated and talented. They not only make us academically good. They also teaches philosophy of education with research, development, training, and extension.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
