Course Curriculum Overview
It was a three year long course and the semester were six in total. The curriculum was very relaxing throughout but required a lot of effort and practice. The internship was in the last six months where we were asked to practise medicine.
Placement Experience
Since this was a government College, we could apply to the college?s hospital where we had to clear an interview round along with an entrance examination. Various other government colleges came to interview like Maulana Azad, AIIMS. Almost all the doctors got placed with an average package of Rs.20 lacks per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for MD was less and the total course fee for the MD general medicine was around Rs.50,000 approximately including all the free but not the travel and accommodation. It could be submitted in the form of demand draft, card payments and no cash was accepted.
Campus Life
It was a diverse college with students coming from different backgrounds and had equal number of boys and girls at the campus. We had big playgrounds where we could play the sports and all the equipment were present at the facilities provided. We had various extra co-curricular activity clubs including music, dance, art.
Admission
The admission was on the basis of all India entrance examination and I was applying to the college through their official website. After filling up the academy details I was called upon the campus for the counselling session and got selected for the course.
Faculty
The teachers were well qualified as doctors and were good PhD holders they had all the experience in the field and helped us throughout the curriculum. They were very communicative and humble by nature which helped us to bond with the students and staff.
