Course Curriculum Overview

The entire course is very well formulated so that the students have a balanced study schedule and the entire course is of 2 years and as we have a two semester system, we have a total of four semesters.

Placement Experience

Our college offers various placement opportunities to the students, The selection of the students is done very strictly and there is a high competition among the students to acquire these placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a little expensive it costs up to INR 53,400 for one year and hence the fee for completing the entire two- year course is INR 1,06,800 and there is total transparency in the fee structure provided on their website.

Campus Life

There is an enormous sports ground which is very well maintained and it is mowed on a regular basis and there are various sports tournaments conducted at our campus, there are students from different campuses participating in these events.

Admission

To get admission in this college, I had to fill up the application form present on the college website and then after being selected, I was called for an interview which was the part of final selection process.

Faculty

We have amazing faculty members, they teach us very well, they encourage us to reach our full potential so that we cans succeed in our careers. They clarify all the doubts and concerns we have regarding the subject.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Since I was looking for 3-Year LL.B (H), my options were already limited as most law colleges in the city offer 5-Year LL.B course. I shortlised Sarsuna Law College, Kolkata Police Law College, Kingston Law College, Sister Nivedita School of Law Although I enquired about the course, I decided against admitting in Kingston Law College as it was very far from my home. I was ineligible for admission in Kolkata Police Law College, as I had no family member (parents) employed in the Kolkata Police. The fee structure of Sister Nivedita School of Law was quite high and against my liking. Sarsuna Law College had a descent fee structure compared to the rest, and also happened to be within reasonable distance from my house. As a result, I took the decision to get admitted in this college. The admission procedure is fairly simple. It is merit-based, as per your overall graduation marks (CGPA). All Admission processes are done online only, the 12th pass or Graduation percentage or CGPA is the mark of merit eligibility. To be eligible to apply for the course student must be got at least 60% in the last board or university examination.
