Course Curriculum Overview
Exams are conducted by first taking an internal exam of 40 marks and 60 marks for the main exam at the end of each semester. In B.A (English) you will learn about English literature. It's history and social history of England to the present day. Department of English imparts knowledge about English communication along with classical and new literatures. It helps us to acquire proficiency in English.
Placement Experience
Yes, the college offers various placement opportunities and half of the students every year avail them. Different seminars and workshops are also held regarding placements. The placement cell helps a lot with in preparing us for placements.
College Events
Various events takes place here including freshers, farewell, different seminars, national conference, celebration of festivals etc. Activities like say no to plastic, Importance of self defence etc also takes place. Student activities like National Cadet Corps and National Service Scheme are also here in which students participate actively.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For such a good college, the fee structure is totally satisfying. For B.A(English) , fee is ?795 per year so the total fees for 3 years is ?2,385. For 3 years it is such that everybody can afford it.
Campus Life
Infrastructure of the college is quite good. There are different blocks for different departments and classrooms are well furnished. The college has got a beautiful garden and the atmosphere is filled with calmness.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, Hostel facilities are available by the college. Infrastructure of the hostel is pretty good and fees is also feasible. It has got rooms with lots of space and rooms are well furnished with a beautiful environment.
Admission
Admission is strictly based on your merit. If you have passed Higher Secondary Examination by the State/Central Board Examination or it's equivalent with the relevant subjects then you can fill the application form given online.
Faculty
In my opinion, the members of the faculty are great. Every teacher is qualified and highly experienced. They are ready to help whenever needed and make learning easy with the different techniques of teaching. They also offer remedial classes for students of different departments.
