Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the B.Com course is wholesome and throughout the duration of the course, students get to learn everything about the commerce industry. The examination structure is also pretty rigid.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities of the college are indeed very good as every year several students are able to find decent jobs upon the completion of the course and there are various internship opportunities available too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It costs ?5,110 for the complete three year, full time, on-campus B.Com course at this university. This fee is indeed justified and inexpensive as other universities cost a fortune for this same course.

Campus Life

To foster a feeling of oneness and belongingness among students, various extra-curricular activities such as cultural evenings, events, fests, etcetera are organised throughout the year by the college.

I am currently pursuing Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from Samsi College, Malda. Their admission procedure is extremely simple and quick as it is based on the merit of a student. The administrative staff are also really helpful.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied for Malda college, Malda women's college, gour college, presidency college and samsi college, I got a confirmed admission from samsi college.
