Course Curriculum Overview
The total time for the course is of 3 years. We had to sit for 6 semester exams. Our professors also took oral and written internal exams to ensure that we are able to cope with the syllabus. The syllabus was huge but manageable.
Placement Experience
We had a separate placement cell and a good career counselling cell. Both the staff of these two cells were very kind to us. They taught us how to present ourselves in a interview and helped us in the overall development in our personality.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is nominal. It is affordable and our college maintained proper transparency regarding the fee department. Apart from that scholarship programmes are also arranged for the benefit of the students who come from economically weak families.
Campus Life
Students could participate in various extra-curricular activities held in our college. Every year Annual Sports Meet is organised where both the students and the teachers participate. Teacher's Day, Independence Day and many other events like these were celebrated. Programmes were also arranged by NSS and NCC sections of our college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel can accomodate 159 students. There are two hostel buildings. The students have to pay for the hostel accomodation for 12 months together. The hostels are cleaned daily. Rooms are spacious. The hostel foods are also of good quality.
Alumni/Alumna
Our seniors were the pillars of our college. They were not only good in academics but also in extra-curricular activities. They helped us in studies with notes and encouraged us for participating in various events arranged by them.
Admission
I entire admission process is online. I filled the application form with all my details and submitted it along with the scanned copies of my documents. After few days, a merit list was published where my name was listed. I was called by the college, where my documents were confirmed with the once I submitted online while filling the form. At last, I took the admission.
Faculty
We had very friendly professors who guided us in every way possible. Professor Debobrata Mukherjee was the head of the department. He was a very qualified and responsible professor. Other teachers were young and caring. All of them provided us with abundant study materials which helped us to score above 60% marks in the final exams.
