Course Curriculum Overview

The course is student-oriented and updated. we have labs like Physics Lab and Chemistry Lab to perform experiments and Work Shop to Practice. The course has a good knowledge of Metallurgy, Operations Research, Design of Machine Elements, Statistical Quality Control, Material Deformation Processes, Tool Design and Production Planning & Control.

Our college is best known for job placement and the students gets an average placement of INR 10 lakhs and the highest package of INR 39 lakhs. Companies like Deloitte, Jio, Jindal steel and power, MAQ Software, SAP, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Ericsson, PumpSense, Yahoo, Oracle, Microsoft, Tata Consultancy Service, Affine, Amcat, Amdocs, Avanti, Axxela, Atos, Byju's, Birlasoft, etc offer good job placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are very much affordable, the overall fees for my course are INR 1157000 including Tuition Fees, Development Fees, Institute Exam Fee, Admission Fee and a refundable Caution Money fees. Hostel and mess charges are excluded in this. Also, scholarships are provided by the college such as GP Birla BIT Scholarship and BIT Scholarships for meritorious.

Campus Life

the college management is very good at sports and many tournaments are organised by the college such as Kho-Kho, Tennis, Cricket, Volleyball and football. The college has a small bank of SBI and a post office for students and teachers. There is a CAD Laboratory, a central Library, hostels for both boys and girls and transport service. A canteen is already there for providing hot and tasty snacks for the student to boost their immunization power. In case of any medical issue, we have a 20-bed capacity medical centre.

Admission

I got admission after qualifying for the exam of JEE-Main. the entrance was on the bases of my 10+2 from science stream. The admission will be given through Joint Seat Allocation Authority or Central Seat Allocation Board. i was lucky to get admission because my rank was good.

Faculty

The college has provided top-notch faculty and well-educated teachers for the students. Faculties have well knowledge and creative abilities for expressing their teaching skill in their subjects. Most of the faculty have a lot of experience which helps the students.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

Experience of an undergrad

For taking admission in this college you should must give jee mains exams,as this college is now lister under josaa and csab therefore maximum of it seats and alloted through this counsellings,some of the vacants seats are filled by the internal counselling conducted by the bit mesra considering jee mains rank.I got admission to this college through jee mains rank in the csab 1st round into the btech in computer science and engineering.the application forms of jee mains can be found on the NTA website with its own form fees for the exam.In the jee mains reservation is provided according to the category,the exam level is moderate to hard the exam is conducted twice in an year most probably jan and april.the internal counselling forms can be found on bit mesra website after jee mains exams. the cutoff ranges from 88 percentile above for general ,80 + for obc as well as for Ews and 70+ for sc/st....Read More

1.The admission process is easy. You should have to appear in Jee mains examination then You have to sit in councelling process of JOSSA Or CSAB the merit list came after that you have to pay a fix amount of admission fee to book your seat and after some day to have to came to college for document verification. 2.The college also give privilage to jharkhand obc student, student should have JEE mains score card and have obc certificate which is issued by SDO only.
