Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was well designed. There are total six semester in the three years course. The curriculum was based on Assamese literature, prose, poetry, drama. The whole curriculum was based on theory. The college conducts unit test on regular basis. Final examination are conducted at the end of each semester.
Placement Experience
Internship facility was not provided in my course. The college has a dedicated placement cell who helps the students by conducting many training sessions, mock interviews, Aptitude test etc. The placement cell conducts campus interview every year for the final semester students by inviting companies like HCL Infosystem, Ericsson, Sony, Titan, ICICI Prudential life Insurance etc. The maximum salary package offered by the companies was 8 lakh rupees annually.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For me, the fees structure was very much feasible. The total fees of the entire course was around 28000. I paid the fees on yearly basis. At the time of admission, i paid around 10000 rupees. Rest of the fees, i paid in two installment. It was a very affordable and manageable fees for all the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides many scholarship facility to the students. These scholarship help the economically poor students in their studies. Some of the scholarship provided are scholarship to the needy and poor students, scholarship to the Backward classes. Apart from these, many scholarship were also provided to the Minority students.
Campus Life
The college encourage and motive the students to participate in various Extracurricular organized by them. Many activities on indoor and outdoor games, Alumni meet, NCC, NSS, cultural functions etc are organized in our college. The college also organizes many awareness programmes on ecological balance, AIDS, Drugs, women empowerment etc . We participate in all the extracurricular activities. These activities really helps us a lot in developing our personalities and talents.
Admission
The admission process in my course was totally based on marks. The admission process was very good and easy in our college. After qualifying higher secondary examination,students can directly take admission in this course.
Faculty
We have highly qualified and best faculties in our college. They are very helpful and friendly with all the students. Teachers are very kind and polite. They try their best to make the students understand. Teachers have very good communication skills.
