The college has started with a good vision and infrastructure. However, the focus seems to be more on making profits through mass admissions rather than quality of laboratories and teaching faculty and opportunities to gain knowledge from other areas such as internships and research.

AIEEE, scored 79. New college, and I am in the senior most batch, so it appealed to me. Simple CAP round admission process. I chose mechanical engineering since I was eligible for it and always loved automobiles since my childhood.

Course curriculum of Pune university is quite tough to say the least. My final year electives were Operations Research, Energy Audit Management, Industrial Engineering and Finite Element Analysis.

No internship offered by my college. I undertook two internships through my own contacts. Both offered no stipend.

Placements are good and the college takes huge efforts to get their students placed. Fortunately for me, I got placed in the first company to visit my college for recruitment.

So far, the college events have been restricted to the college level only due to lack of manpower and funds. The events will soon expand to invite other colleges. The level of our cultural events is very good and almost everyone is interested. Technical events have a long way to go in terms of quality and level. Sports events are restricted due to lack of facilities but attract a big crowd.

Fee structure is quite reasonable. Since the college infrastructure is good, 55000-65000 a year is quite cheap for a professional course.

Gender ratios are decent. There isn't any discrimination. College is quite active in terms of extra curricular activities,however at the cost of academics, since there is no extra time and the faculty is not very supportive. A hint of politics all around, students belonging to political backgrounds carry forward some of that to the college too. Many workshops are organised, however at the wrong time for the wrong students, so mostly useless. For example first year students are given workshops on entrepreneurship, still 3 years to go for them, so it makes no sense.one of the many examples.

Very poor in all aspects. Period. PGs are super expensive. Food quality is bad all around. Hostel facilities are scarce and expensive.

Yes, the exams are very frequent and weird distribution of syllabus. Overall a hectic course if one wants to do well.

For the first 6 semesters out of 8 we had just 2 good teachers throughout. For my final year, the management took efforts and got experienced faculty to teach in my department. Standards would be 7/10 overall.
