Remarks

Wi-Fi facilities are available in the college. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are large and clean. Students can get any book from the library. The college arranges a cricket tournament. It is simply a well-developed college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college offers two-year Master?s program in various disciplines of Arts. The college follows the course curriculum and exam structure guidelines propose by the RABINDRA BHARTI UNIVERSITY as the college is affiliated to the university.

Placement Experience

Minimum of 65 percent students placed.. The average salary offered was 25 thousand. Internships are also provided on the basis of experience level of the students. In a nutshell, the college is providing good placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very much cheaper as compared to other colleges.As this a government college they are offering an MA course at Rs. 8150 only. The yearly fee is calculated as Rs.4000 for first year and Rs. 4150 for second year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The College also has a ?Students? Aid Fund? to help obtain financial aid and offers ?Free/Half Free Studentship? on grounds of merit and means. Further a fee concession of 50% is given to students who represent College at National and International level in games and sports.The ?Government of India Post Metrics Scholarship? is available to SC/ST/OBC students and ?D.P.I. Stipends? to meritorious students.

Campus Life

Classrooms, lab, Library, medical l, the facility is good. Classrooms are also good. There is also a lab,Its too good in which we can all types of experiments. The library is also great and students can also find many other interesting books inspite of there subjects.

Admission

Applicants should have completed graduation degree and the further selection will be based on a Merit list. Applications for admission can be submitted online through either online or offline mode of payment.

Faculty

In this college, the teachers are very good and helpful for all types of students and highly qualified teachers are there and they are also knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good in both practical and theoretical manner.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

A good government aided college

I applied for Siliguri college, Darjeeling college, Kurseong college and I get the chance of admission in these colleges.
