My Academic Experience

The best thing in our college is that we get the facility of the audio-visual class. We had a very well equipped auditorium and laboratories. There were one central and departmental library. The campus was well built and organized. The surrounding is clean and green.

The duration of the course is of 3 years. The syllabus is very well categorized into 6 semesters. Apart from final semester exams we were also assessed on the basis of assignments and projects. Although we had a huge syllabus, the teaching method of teachers made it easy.

Our college had an active counselling and placement cell. Every students could reach out to the counselling cell to get proper guidance regarding interviews. We were trained with so much proficiency that many of my batch mates are employed in the school service commission. Many of my batch mates are also currently working at many government and private sectors like banking and healthcare.

The fee structure is feasible. We were charged Rs 2,320 for a year. This money included all the charges like, library fee, tuition fee, C.U Registration and exam fees. Scholarship programs are also offered by our college to ensure that no students face problems regarding fees.

Our teachers always encouraged us to participate in various extra curricular activities arranged by the college authorities. Indoor activities like carom and table tennis are available to the students in the college. Outdoor games like cricket, batminton, volleyball and football are organised by the college. Every year Wall Magazine is published by our departments. Students organised many seminars and workshops.

The Alumni members are the pillars of our college. They are extremely successful today. Every year the college arranges Annual Alumni Meet where the notable alumni members were invited to give motivation speeches. The senior students were very affectionate and caring. They inspired us a lot.

The admission procedure was simple. I visited the Calcutta University portal and registered myself to the college. Then, I filled the application form and submitted it along my scanned documents. The college published its merit list based on the merit of the students in their 10+2 marks. I found my name and went to the college campus for the verification of the documents. At last I was granted admission.

There were 3 professors in our departments. All of them were qualified and very responsible teachers. They ensured that all of us were taught properly. They cleared our doubts and gave justifications with logical proof.
