I had a really good time in the college. I have spent the best days there. It not only helps you with your studies but also helps you grow and nurture your inner talent. This is one of the best institution for distance learning in Tamil Nadu.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of this course, tourism management is quite interesting. We get to learn a new thing everyday. It is just a one year program with a lot of benefits. I really enjoyed the time I used to study this course.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are good in the college. the college help the students in getting internship programs also. But it completely depends on the students calibre what kind of internship he / she will get.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the college is very feasible. I remember, the total amount I paid for the course that I opted was just 4700 rupees. The fee structure is another yet reason I joined this college . it is very affordable
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships and loan facilities are available to the students via government and public as well as private banks. If any student excels in the course of study and is economically weak, the college also provides some concession in the fees to that particular student.
Campus Life
We used to have a lot of extra curricular activities. We had different site visits and other trips as it is a path for study. I really liked all these activities. It was such a fun doing these things. And yes, no discrimination is done in the college with any student.
Alumni/Alumna
I had interacted with a few seniors of mine. They were really helpful and supportive. We are all also connected to an alumni group of the college. It feels good when I guide my juniors and help them know better career options.
Admission
I chose the tourism diploma course out of interest in it and I found periyar University a good place where I could convert my interest into a certificate. All the admission procedure was done online and on my merit basis I got admission in the college.
Faculty
More than professors, the faculty members were our friends. They always helped us whenever we needed them and guided us whenever we had a doubt in our syllabus. They supported as both in the classroom and outside the classroom. Even now if I contact any one of them, they will help me for sure.
